   Mary Carey arrested for public indecency

Lakewood, Washington - Friday night Mary Carey was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of public indecency while she was performing at the Paradise Club in Lakewood. Her publicist from Kick Ass Pictures, Jeff Hickey, said she violated the four foot rule. She was topless within four feet of a customer, which is against vice rules in Washington. They also arrested her for touching another women at the club.

Carey was released on $500 bail. The vice squad also arrested two of the clubs managers and another dancer. The Paradise club has been shut down before for the same charges. It was commented, that they have been after the club, Carey just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. She was booked, finger printed, photographed and put in a jumpsuit, then locked in a cell alone.

Carey was quite unhappy with the situation, "They are charging me with soemthing I did not do. They have been harassing the club non-stop for the last two weeks. I did comply with the laws, I stayed on the pedestal. They were going to get me any way they could. I'm never coming back to Lakewood."

Carey said she got a performing permit, but never got the "rule book". "They handcuffed me without reading me my miranda rights and they put me in the car." She says she intends to fight the charges. Carey's attorney, at present time, said no charges had been filed.

   Mary Carey starts Safe Sex Tour

Los Angeles, California - Mary Carey, under contract with Kick Ass Pictures, will start a "safe Sex Tour" this month which will include several nightclubs and other national venues to promote proper condom use and safe sex practices.

The Carey tour will begin on March 26 at the Ice Metaclub in Las Vegas and she plans to visit college towns to speak about the serious need for safer sex. She will also speak about AIDS, STD's and preventing pregnancy. There will be a fish bowl full of condoms at every meeting.

Carey is also celebrating her two year anniversary as an exclusive with Kick Ass Pictures, who ironically produce videos that use no condoms. But she stated the tour was through her pulic relations firm, seperate from her current contract obligations.

Carey's next videos from Kick Ass Pictures will be the interactive Mary Carey Experience and Totally Mary.
